Watches
I buy, sell and collect luxury watches. Some I keep, most I move. Here's what I look for and how the deals actually work.
How I approach it
A watch is only a good buy if I know who buys it from me next and roughly what they'll pay. Liquidity first, then condition, box and papers, service history, and the price against recent sales.
What I post here
- Pickups and sales, with the reasoning behind each
- How I check condition and authenticity before money moves
- The costs people leave out: fees, shipping, insurance, service
- The pieces I'm keeping, and why
On the numbers
Any buy and sell prices I share are specific to that deal. They aren't typical, they don't predict what you'd make, and plenty of watch flips lose money once fees and time are counted.
